Christopher Tomlin opened her eyes on the 4th of May in the year 1972. He is a Christian of the catholic faith and is not only a worship leader but also a talented songwriter by profession. He comes from Grand Saline in Texas, United States and is also an ex staff member at the prestigious Austin Stone Community Church. Not only that but he is also signed to EMI's six steps records. Tomlin also gives on lead numerous worships at several passion events. Amongst his most popular and well-known songs are "How Great Is Our God", "Indescribable" and "Forever." And of course who can forget the popular songs "Famous One", "We Fall Down", the popular song titled "Holy Is the Lord" and last but not the least "Made to Worship". Tomlin is also amongst the members that make up the “Compassionart”, which is a charity that had been founded by Martin Smith from Delirious.
In accordance to the Christian Copyright Licensing International, Tomlin is without doubt amongst the most sung Christian artists all across the United States. He had been awarded as the best Male Vocalist in not only 2006 but consecutively for three years and hence also in the year 2007 and 2008. He had won this honor by the prestigious Gospel Music Awards. In addition they had also named him as the Artist of the Year in both 2007 and the year 2008. Chris Tomlin went on to release his seventh studio album that had been titled “Hello Love” on the 2nd of September in the current year that is 2008.
On the personal front Tomlin had opened his eyes in Grand Saline in Texas in the year 1972. He had been born to Connie and Donna Tomlin. He had two younger brothers named Ryan and Cory. Tomlin had been gifted his very first guitar from his father, Connie, when he had yet been only eleven years old and had contracted a case of mono. Owing to this his interest in the music industry developed and went on to pen his first worship song three years later when she had been fourteen years old. He had entered the college planning course for studying physical therapy. This was the time when he had stated that he had felt God's calling to and had withdrawn from perusing that career.
During the mid nineties tie period had spent quite some time leading several worships at the venue of the Dawson McAllister Youth Conference. He had also led several worships at numerous camps all across the state of Texas.
When he had been a student at the Texas A&M University, following that he had continued to not only play bt also pen songs. Eventually in the year 1997 Louie Giglio had asked him if he would by any chance be interested in working with the Passion Conferences. He had accepted this offer since has not played a key role.
