Robert James Ritchie also known as Kid Rock was born on January 17 1971 in Romeo Michigan. He began his career when he was only eleven years old, a friend of his introduced him to a group named The Furious Funkers. The albums main single Yo Da Lin In The Valley was not well received by the censor board and a very heavy fine was placed on the single because it had lyrics and told alot about oral sex. Due to this controversy Jive Records relaunched Kid Rock in 1991. Next year Kid Rock signed with another label named Continuum Records and gave out his second album named The Polyfuze Method. The album fared well on the radio but overall failed to make an impact.
