Born on 26th Feb., in the year 1953, Michael Bolton is an American singer-songwriter and a prior hard rock singer. He is well-known for his soft rock ballads and tenor vocals. His accomplishments include selling many albums, 8 top ten albums, 2 number one singles on the Billboard charts, and awards from both the American Music Awards and Grammy Awards. Bolton's hard rock group, Blackjack, once toured with heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne. He initiated recording as Michael Bolotin in the year 1975.
He gained his first major hit as a songwriter, co-writing "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" for the Laura Branigan, priory best-known Branigan took the song to # 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart for 3 weeks in the year 1983. The two decide to work with each other again, and their next collaboration was when Bolton co-wrote "I Found Someone" for Branigan in the year 1985.
Her edition was only a minor hit, but 2 years later, Cher revived the song, and with it her own singing career. Bolton co-wrote many other songs for the both singers. Bolton might achieve his greatest victory in the late 80s and early 90s as a singer in the adult current genre. One of his 1st major hits was his in the year 1987 interpretation of the Otis Redding classic.
