Pussycat Dolls is a very popular American girl group belonging to the pop music genre. This music group that can also be labeled as a dance ensemble and had been founded by the choreographer named Robin Antin in the year 1995. The respective music group had initially been started as a burlesque troupe that had been based in Los Angeles. This was before they had been "re-cast" as a music group in the year 2003, when then it did Reality TV programs, an act situated in Las Vegas and several ventures that were overseen by Antin and some of her other partners. The Pussycat dolls had released their debut single in the year 2004, and this one single had shot them to fame overnight. It had been not only an international commercial success but had also been extremely appreciated and praised by the critics all around. This group has recently released their second studio album that is titled �Doll Domination� and was released on the 23rd of September in the current year that is 2008.

Two years earlier that is in the year 2006 the Pussycat Dolls had given live performances in North America where they had supported the popular hip hop group named �Black Eyed Peas�. They also had the honor of being headliners as they toured not only UK, Europe and Philippines but also Malaysia. In the month of August in the same year post a concert that this group had conducted in Kuala Lumpur, their concert promoter that was �Absolute Entertainment� was charged with breaking the decency laws prevalent in Malaysia. In fact a Malaysian newspaper, The Malay Mail to be precise, had quoted the Culture Arts and the Heritage Minister as saying that the way that the Pussycat Dolls had behaved onstage had been outrageous and had amounted to gross indecency. This charge had been settled only after the fine had been paid. The fine had amounted to RM5000 which was $1358 US dollars at that time.

From the month of November in the year 2006 to the month of January in the following year the Pussycat Dolls were on tour in Europe. In this European Tour they also did an opening act with the popular Grammy wining singer named Rihanna. Then in February they gave a performance at the venue of the Manchester Evening News Arena. This concert had been recorded and had later on been streamed to the MSN Music.

Not only that but The Pussycat Dolls have also toured North America as a supporting act for a tour by the popular Christina Aguilera that had been titled Back to Basics Tour. Apart from them Danity Kane and NLT had also given performances in this tour. The Pussycat dolls also gave performances at the Cokelive Festival that was held in Bucharest in Romania. The have also announced a tour that will begin in the month of January in the next year that is 2009.
