The Temper Trap is another rock band from Melbourne, Australia noted for its atmospheric sound, including grand guitars set to lively rhythms. The Temper Trap is signed to Infectious Records around the world, except for Australia and the U. S. In Australia, the group is signed to Michael Gudinski's label Liberation Music, and in the U. S.

It is signed to Glassnote Records. The Temper Trap first fascinated the attention of the worldwide music organization after playing to sell-out audience at the Musexpo in London in October the year 2008, and then at South by Southwest in March the year 2009. The BBC chose The Temper Trap on its top fifteen Sounds of 2009. The band completed recording their introduction album, Conditions, with expert music producer Jim Abbiss in March of the year 2009 in London, after four weeks recording the bulk of the album in Melbourne in end of the year 2008. Mandagi said his key influences when recording Conditions included Radiohead, Prince and Massive Attack.

The album was free in Australia on 19th June the year 2009, and initiated at number 9 on the Australian ARIA Charts. It was set free in the United Kingdom on 10th August the year 2009.
