A steady rain, written by Kieth Huff, is a play revolving around the story of a real life even related to Jeffrey Dahmer. The story tells how two policemen from Chicago hand over a Vietnamese boy to a serial killer who also happens to be cannibalistic in nature. When later that boy becomes the latest victim of that serial killer, the two policemen face a situation where one of them has to bear the blame for handing over the boy without accurate investigation.

The play alternates between two monologues and the dialogues related to the present moment scenes. The Steady Rain was first stages by the Chicago dramatists in 2007. It again opened as a Broadway act in September 2009.

After its production by the Chicago dramatists in 2007 and Royal George Theatre in 2008, it won two Joseph Jefferson Awards; one for the Best New Work and the other for Best Production. The Broadway act is scheduled for 12 weeks which is directed by John Crowley. It is going to star famous Hollywood actors Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig, who would be making his debut as a Broadway actor. This play is a must see for people who like real life events portrayed through the art of expressions.
