Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a Broadway musical with music and lyrics by the David Yazbek and a book by Jeffrey Lane; it is located on the film of the similar name. The musical ran on the Broadway in the year 2005 and also had a United States (US) tour. The musical released in San Diego, California on Sept., 22nd, the year 2004, before moving to Broadway in Jan., the year 2005 and officially starting in March at the Imperial Theatre. The show ended on Broadway on Sept., 3rd, the year 2006 with a total of 626 performances.
The director was Jack O'Brien, Jerry Mitchell was the choreographer, scenic design by David Rockwell, Gregg Barnes was the costume designer, and lighting design was by the Kenneth Posner. The starring included John Lithgow, Norbert Leo Butz, and the Sherie Rene Scott, with Joanna Gleason and also the Gregory Jbara. The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels: initially Broadway Cast Recording CD was recorded on March 14th, the year 2005 at Right Track Studio in the year New York City and was introduced on May 10th, the year 2005 by Ghostlight Records which is an imprint of Sh-K-Boom Records. A N. American national Equity tour opened on the Aug., 4th, the year 2006 with Norbert Leo Butz reprising his role as Freddy, alongside the Tom Hewitt as Lawrence.
