With the passage of time when the interest of the valet in the countess becomes known to the count, he makes a plan to get of the page by offering him an officer's commission. But things are different as it is planned by Figaro, Susanna, and the Countess to make a plan against the Count and depict his unfaithfulness and betrayal. But there is a twist in events as Figaro is captured in a conflict with both Bartolo and Marcellina. This twist results in the revealing of Figaro being their son. The night ends with the Count's disgrace and the grant of an apology by the Countess.

A sentence that was included in the marriage vows of Figaro was employed again in Cos� fan tutte. The final act was composed by beautifully. Mozartusage of the same design was employed for the initial bassoon concerto.
