This talented performer opened his eyes into this world on the 18th of December in the year 1956. He is a Grammy Award nominated performer and works in the genre of the stand-up comedy in the field of entertainment. Originally this talented comedian belongs to Fritch in Texas. Formerly he was also a valued member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour that had given ample support and aid in the elevation of his star status that preceded the original Blue Collar tour and also the DVD release.
As has already been mentioned briefly most of his upbringing took place in Fritch in Texas. It is basically a little town that is around thirty miles on the North of Amarillo. Once in an interview he had mentioned that he had basically been brought up by his grandmother from age nine to age thirteen.
He has gained immense popularity owing to his all-black outfits that he dons all the time and also for his habit of smoking, be it cigars or cigarettes, even while he is on the stage. Many times during his act he also resorts to drinking Scotch whisky. Other than his “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” CDs and DVD’s that gained him immense popularity he has also released around five solo projects till the present time. These solo projects have been briefly listed as follows.
The “Tater Salad” that is also known as the “Busted in Des Moines” was released in 1990. It is an audio CD of a stand-up gig from the inceptive years of his career and then “Drunk in Public” yet another audio CD was released in the year 2003. The second solo project came almost thirteen years after his first solo project. It was also a stand-up gig. The DVD of They Call Me "Tater Salad", his third solo project was released soon after in the year 2004.
This was a recording of one of his stand-up concerts and was similar to the second project that was the “Drunk in Public”. Two years later, “You Cant Fix Stupid” was released. It was an audio CD that included some new and latest footage of the unseen material before from his very first project. And last but not the least his fifth and till now the last project was “The Ron White Show” that also released in the year 2006. It was a DVD that was both a mixture of standup comedy and sketch comedy and also animated parts and the composition.
Other than that he has made an appearance on several compilation albums namely the Redneck Comedy Roundup that was released officially in the year 2005 and starred Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Blake Clark whereas the comedy Central which had been the presenter of the Southern Gents of Comedy and was released in the next year. It starred Otis Lee Crenshaw, Vic Henley, and also Steve McGrew.
