Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Eagles are a professional American football team. Philadelphia Eagles are the members of the National Football Conference (NFC)’s East Division in the National Football League (NFL). They have won the three NFL titles, two Super Bowl appearances, losing both (in the year 1980 by the Oakland Raiders and in year 2004 by the New England Patriots).
The club was recognized in the year 1933 as a substitution for the bankrupt Frankford Yellow Jackets after an association led by future NFL official Bert Bell purchased the rights to a Philadelphia franchise from the league. The Eagles were named after the Blue Eagle, which is a symbol used for the New Deal stimulus programs started during the Great Depression.
Eagles’ players who have been inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame include Chuck Bednarik, Bob Brown, Reggie White, Steve Van Buren, Tommy McDonald, Earle "Greasy" Neale, Pete Pihos, Sonny Jorgensen and Norm Van Brocklin. Bert Bell was also induced as a contributor. Jeffrey Lurie purchased the Eagles on May 6th, 1994 from then the owner Norman Braman for an estimated value of $185 million. The club is now expected to be the 5th most expensive NFL franchise of worth $1.024 billion.

The Philadelphia Eagles take on Manchester United and the Tel Aviv Red Devils on Thursday Even though the Jaguars had possession for nearly 33 minutes of the game, the Eagles' defense limited the Jaguars to 184 yards of total offense. So how did the Eagles trounce the Jaguars so thoroughly? Was it because they played so well, or because the Jaguars played so poorly, or perhaps both?
